NVIDIA has discreetly launched a 72GB GDDR7 variant of its RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell GPU, marking a 50% memory increase over the 48GB model while retaining a 300W TDP. The expansion leverages unconventional double-stacked memory modules, preserving bandwidth despite an asymmetrical layout.

Concurrently, Elon Musk's xAI committed to a $20 billion partnership with Nvidia for its Memphis Colossus 2 data center infrastructure. The dual announcements underscore NVIDIA's data center dominance, evidenced by its $41.1 billion Q2 2025 revenue in the segment.
